Worshipping in the Anglican Tradition
Christ Church is under the authority of the Anglican Diocese of the Mid-Atlantic (DOMA) within the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA). Our diocese is a regional grouping of parishes and ministries gathered together for the purpose of sharing resources, accountability, and furthering the Kingdom of God.
ACNA is led by the Archbishop: The Most Reverend Stephen D. Wood. DOMA is led by the Bishop: The Right Reverend Christopher S. Warner (pictured here).
Vestry
Christ Church is a local, self-supporting, and self-governing parish. The parish is governed by a vestry which is chaired by the rector, managed by the senior warden, and consists of lay men and women who are elected by the voting membership of the parish for a specific term. The vestry is charged with the oversight of the temporal and business affairs of the parish.
